Cossacks are brave, free people. What do you know about them? I guess I knew next to nothing…until I started working on this theme for the sock concept. And it was incredibly difficult and interesting at the same time. I found so much very interesting, strange, extraordinary, specific information that I could hardly choose the main stories to depict. I wanted to tell everything, but it is impossible to tell everything. Therefore, my goal was to arouse interest, the desire to dive in, to learn more, to get acquainted with the Cossack past, some Ukrainian symbols, but from the other side. From loud, interesting, sometimes ridiculous stories, incredible myths, bright pictures.
